Runs in NYC
Every June Jackie and I would drive to NYC and meet Aunt Carol for a weekend of shopping and running a 10K. Our last one we gave up easily. I am not sure why but Jackie won awards, but I dont remember if Aunt Carol did. Sometimes other people joined us Leigh, Michele, Cousin Diane Speicher , Alizabeth. The race was an excuse for the weekend. For a long time we would shop at Formans. The sales ladies always seemed to remember Jackie but not Carol or me. I think because Jackie would give advice to all the other shoppers. Every year they would buy a sister item such a shirt, earrings things like that. When we started doing the race it was call Leggs minimarathon the tag line was Who says girls cant run the world That kinda angered Carol and Jackie after awhile and wanted changed to Girls can run the world or something like that. That is why I gave her that bracelet. After reading this I think I did the punctuation right but I am not sure I hope Aunt Carol is not rolling eyes at my mom right about now
