Please accept my sympathy on the loss of you father. From the time we first met in the mid-seventies in Carmel, N.Y. I knew I had a friend. Your family welcomed our family with open arms every time we visited. He was the ultimate tour guide and made friends with everyone we met along the way. In the words of one of your greatest songwriters/poets, Bob Dylan, "hold onto your memories for you cannot relive them".

Your father will be remembered in my prayers as will you. Your father was a really delightful man who always had this great BIG smile and warm welcoming strong handshake and always introduced me to his Mary. It must have been like we knew each other for a long, long time, since like he, I too relocated to North Carolina, now that I write this, perhaps that was a "secret New Yorker" handshake.

May he rest in peace along side his Betty.
