Frank R Macina was born in the Bronx,NY, grew up in Stormville, NY, and resided in Wingdale, NY. Frank was born on May 4, 1966 to Francis V. Macina and Mirella F. Macina (Copioli). He Passed away suddenly on October 3, 2022. Frank graduated from Carmel central school district in 1985. Met and married the love of his life on June 18, 2004. Frank leaves behind his beloved wife Stacie Macina (Kaine), cherished daughter Alexis both of Wingdale, NY step-son Christopher and daughter in-law Dana of Pawling NY. He also leaves behind his brothers Vincent and Michael Macina and sister Lisa Wood. Frank is predeceased by parents Frank & Mirella and both his sets of grandparents. Frank worked as a sanitation worker in the town of Patterson until he took early retirement in 2017.
Frank was an avid hunter, gardener, and jokester. He loved his summer weeks in Atlantic Beach NC. Frank was a tender loving man that would do anything for anyone if it was possible. Upon his death he was an organ donor and gave his 2 corneas and the gift of sight to 2 Hudson Valley recipients.
In lieu of flowers Stacie has asked that donations be given to her and will be put in a college fund for Alexis. Her 529 is in Frank's name and has to be changed to Stacie's before any contributions can go in it. But more than anything else Frank wanted to see Alexis do good things. She is in her senior year at Dover High School and is at the application process for college now.
