Florence M. D'Imperio, a lifelong resident of Harrison, died October 1, 2022, in Boynton Beach, Florida, where she lived for the past year. She was 102 years old. Florence was born in Harrison on April 15, 1920, to Antonio and Eugenia Napolitano Mercurio. she married Adolph "Chopsey" D'Imperio, on January 24, 1943. He predeceased her in 2005. She is survived by her children, Donna (Peter) Gaudet, Judy (Matthew) D'Agostinis, and William (Elizabeth) D'Imperio. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Peter (Debbie) Gaudet, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Harrigan, Matthew (Jodi) D'Agostinis, and Jeffrey (Katharyn) D'Agostinis and 12 great-grandchildren. she was predeceased by her granddaughter Melissa D'Agostinis Kolb, sisters Gloria D'Imperio, Millie Morabito, Jeanne Olson, brother Fred Mercurio and their spouses. she is survived by many loving Nieces and nephews. Wake will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. and funeral mass on Friday October 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.
