Obituary for Kate Vourliotis (Kate Haralambidis)

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, Kate Vourliotis, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home.
Kate was born in Athens, Greece on May, 31 1937. Kate emigrated to the United States in 1966 and soon after married Peter (Takis) Vourliotis. They lived in Harrison, NY where they raised their two daughters. Kate was a devoted wife and mother. She was a devout Greek Orthodox Christian and the Church of Our Saviour in Rye, NY was a second home to her and her family. Kate’s most cherished role was that of “yiayia” to her six adoring grandchildren.
Kate is survived by her loving husband, Takis, her daughters, Barbara and Aileen, their husbands Jerry and George, her loving grandchildren, George, Peter, Jerry, Katherine, Christopher and Sophia. Kate is predeceased by her brother, John and survived by her sister, Aristea.
