Obituary for Christopher D. Gambacorta
Christopher Gambacorta, a life long Harrison resident, died on Saturday February 6th, 2021. He was 39 years old.
Chris was born on June 26, 1981 in Harrison to Frances Gambacorta and Enzo Gambacorta. He was an elevator technician at Consolidated Elevator Corporation.
In addition to his parents Frances and Enzo, he is survived by his loving sister Danielle, her husband John-Michael DeGennaro, his adoring nephews Gianluca and Lorenzo. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Chris loved his family, he especially cherished his nephews. He always had a smile on his face and was will be remembered for his childlike humor, antics and pranks.
Chris's struggles with addiction and his courageous battle for recovery was remarkable. He never gave up. His resilience and determination is a testament to his love for his family and the strength of his character. There were many family and friends that supported him in his recovery, especially he cousin, Joe DiFabio, we are eternally grateful.
Visiting will be Sunday February 14, 2021 from 2-6 Harrison funeral home 329 Halstead Ave Harrison, NY 10528 and the funeral Mass is scheduled for St Gregorys Church on Monday February 15, 2021 at 11AM
