Gloria Policriti, age 95, of Harrison NY passed away peacefully at her home on February 9, 2021. She was the daughter of Pasquale and Loretta LeGrazie. She married her husband Frank Policriti (deceased), the love of her life, on 8/10/43. They were happily married for 67 years and were absolutely devoted to each other. Gloria was the loving mother of 4 children: Marianne Mooney (Kevin), Patricia Zagaroli, Francine Kelleher (Michael), and Cosmo F. Policriti (Nicola).
Gloria is preceded in death by her three siblings: James LeGrazie, Anna Voetsch, and Grace Payne. Over the years, Frank and Gloria were very close with Frank’s brother and sisters: Connie Varra (Bill), Vivian LePino (Joe), Grace Scarlato (Tony) and Cosmo S. Policriti Jr. Gloria also had a special affection for her niece Anne Rudy (Jeff).
Gloria will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Paul, Shane, Billy, Chrissy, Corinne, Kimberlyn, and Benjamin. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren Declan, Caius, Luca, Jake, Mikey, and AJ.
Gloria worked as an administrative assistant for the Town of Harrison for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Columbiettes as well as the Harrison Senior Citizens. She was an avid baker, cook and poker player. She loved to attend water aerobics. Gloria was a member of St. Gregory the Great church and was active in the church family throughout her life.
Now reunited with Frank, we hope that they are dancing together once more.
Forever in our hearts, we love you and miss you Mom.
