Obituary for Annette Vuotto (Annette Bufi)

Annette Bufi Vuotto passed away peacefully and entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2020 at 93 years of age. She was born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy on October 16, 1926 to Isabella and Pantaleo Bufi. Annette moved to America as a child with her family and became an American citizen on September 28, 1966. She was a lifelong Harrison, New York resident, and spent her last 3 years at Atria Senior Living in Stamford, CT.

Annette was a police clerk in the village of Larchmont, New York for 26 years, retiring to spend more time with her beloved grandchildren, Robert and Christopher. Annette was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, her greatest joy in life were her grandsons. She was an avid reader, a champion bowler collecting numerous trophies over the years, and a great cook. She is survived by her son, Robert J Vuotto and his wife, Roseann of Pound Ridge, New York, grandson Robert A. Vuotto and his wife, Karina of Stamford, CT, grandson Christopher J. Vuotto and his fiancee, Andrea Ayon of Brooklyn, New York, brother Morris Bufi and his wife, Elsje of Harrison, New York and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Joseph Vuotto, son, James Vuotto, and her sisters Mary Bufi and Rose Mustacato.

There will be a private graveside prayer service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, New York.
