Condolence From: David J Panciera
Condolence: Neil to most of the rest of the world, Harvey to me (after a Detroit Tiger shortstop who spelled his surname differently) I was saddened to learn of his death. We were good friends at Portsmouth and his decision to attend St. Michael’s (University of Toronto) led me to do the same. While it was a temporary stop for him it was more significant for me in terms of marriage, degree and family. My heartfelt condolences and my assurance that Neil (or Harvey) has a permanent place in my memory....djp

Condolence From: Dan Franklin
Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Neil for many years at Consumer Reports. A few times, he made the mistake of sending messages to the full staff in poetry. Even though most people loved them, he was told that was inappropriate. So he asked those CR staffers who were interested to sign up to get his poems on an individual basis. Well over 100 did, and so we were graced with Neil's poetic words of wisdom several times a week for years after. What a fine spirit! He will be missed by all who knew him.
