Condolences

Condolence From: Patty Hill
Condolence: My heart goes out to Eric and Amy's families. I became friends with Amy in 6th grade and considered her my best friend for over a decade. She was a sensitive, loving, smart and kind young woman and I am heart broken at the news of her loss. I looked up to her in so many ways and she made me a better person in ways that I never shared with her. Even though we lost touch over the years, I never stopped thinking of her and kept her in my heart always. Right now my heart is breaking, thinking of my beautiful friend with the strawberry blonde curls with whom I left so much unsaid, but with all that, I cannot possibly know the depths of your sadness right now, but please know you are not alone and that there are many friends who loved her too and are sending you love and prayers.

Condolence From: Sarah Taylor
Condolence: My condolences to the Yon families. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Amy. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
