Condolence From: James Holland
Condolence: Sandy and kids I am so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was one of a kind, one of the most caring and funniest people I have ever known and to be able to call him a dear friend is one of the greatest honors of my life. He would do anything for anyone and never ask anything in return. He was also one of the most real true people I have ever met, your dad was always himself, what you saw is what you got, and that is incredibly rare to find in people. I have a million funny stories to share and would welcome the chance to do just that any time you would like. Thinking of all of you. James

Condolence From: Pattie and Joe Pastore
Condolence: Richard was a ten year old when we first met him. We lived "down the hill" from his family's house in Briarcliff Manor. We knew his siblings and his parents, Pat and Bill, and we enjoyed our intersections over the years--moments ranging from street side chats to a passing wave as we drove by their house. We recall one of Richard's favorite childhood activities--spending time at the pond down the hill from his house and next to ours. It was always a peaceful sight. He seemed to love the quiet and the challenge of discovery at the pond. News of Richard's passing prompted a similar sense of quiet in our lives. We offer condolences to his Dad, to his sisters, Christine and Carolyn, and to his wife Sandy and their children. Their hope is our hope--that Richard's memory will always be with them, with the help of time and the legacy of love that Richard has left. Pattie and Joe Pastore

Condolence: Dear Sandy and Kids, Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was one of many who had the pleasure of being one of Rich’s fraternity brothers in college. He made us laugh every single day, and I will always cherish those memories of him. In behalf of all of his brothers from college, our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Condolence: I still cannot believe that Richard is gone, and decades too soon. I remember when he was born and how proud Trish and Will were, as they were with Christine and Carolyn. Trish called him The Prince, and treated him as such. I am just so sad for Sandy, Samantha, Christian, and Matthew, but know that Richard brought joy into the world, especially with his wicked sense of humor. Love, Rosemary

Condolence: We are proud to have had such a great guy as Rich as our Nephew. We remember Rich, Christine and Carolyn playing with our kids at numerous family get-togethers. Rich and our son Patrick were close friends exchanging many play dates at one house or the other. We’ll miss him and his keen sense of humor. Our best to Sandy and the kids.
