Theresa Tirella Gregory
Theresa Tirella Gregory, a lifelong resident of Harrison, New York, passed away at age 88 on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, New York.
Theresa was born in Harrison on November 12, 1929, to Carolina (nee DeIacova) and Paul Polito. In 1950 she married John J. Tirella Jr., who died in 1969. In 1982 she married Rocco Gregory, who died in 2009.
Theresa is survived by her sons John Tirella of Charlotte, North Carolina; Lawrence Tirella of Cortlandt Manor, New York; and Paul Tirella of Wilmington, North Carolina, and by her step-daughter Robin (Thomas) Gubin of Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sister Frances Contrata of Harrison; brother Frank (Linda) Polito of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and sister-in-law Lia Polito of Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Sarah Marie Tirella (1995) and her brother Carmine Polito (2009).
