Obituary for Anthony Briganti

Mr. Anthony (Tony or Nino) Briganti of 81 Park Avenue in Harrison, NY died peacefully at his residence. He was 94 years old.
Anthony was the beloved husband of his late wife Rose. He was a devoted father to Diane (George) Briganti - Dahlbeck and Richard (Patricia) Briganti, loving grandfather to Mark and Alex Briganti, and a much-loved brother to Dominick (Rae) Briganti.
He was a longtime resident of Harrison, and owned “The Main Barber Shop” in Port Chester for 49 years. He was a Real Estate and Insurance Broker and he was an usher at St. Gregory the Great Church until he was 90 years old. Anthony was past president of the Knights of Columbus and the John Caboto Club and a member of the Harrison Seniors. He loved to garden, paint, write and sculpt. His paintings currently hang in churches and homes around the world. He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
The Briganti Family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Harrison Funeral Home. The funeral will take place on Sunday and mass of the Christian Burial at St. Gregory the Great Church at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 High Street, Port Chester, NY. In lieu of flowers a tribute gift in memory of Anthony Briganti can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation http://www.parkinson.org/
