Born June 8th 1933, died peacefully on March 29th, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Claire was a graduate of Harrison High School Class of 1951. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, trips to the casino, family card games, and puzzles. Spending time with her grandchildren was just one of the things that made her smile. She will be missed by all.
Claire was predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Peter Passamonte.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Anthony Roy Varbero, her son Anthony Roy Varbero Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, her daughter Mary and husband Frank Muia of NY, and her son Kevin McGinley and wife Christine of CT. She is also survived by her sisters Eloise, Franny, and her brother James Passamonte of NY. Nana will be forever missed by her grandchildren Blake Varbero, Paige Perez, Peter Muia, Nicolas Muia and Alexandra Muia.
