Nault, Catherine

Catherine Nault, lifetime resident of Carmel died on November 8, 2013 at home with her family. She was 92. She was born July 5th, 1921 in Norwalk CT to Mary and Oscar Cinque. On March 18th, 1944 she married Wilfred "Bill" Nault at St. Joesph's Church in South Norwalk, CT.

She was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle church, a member of the choir and Altar Rosary Society. She cleaned the Lady of the Lake church for many years and worked in the rectory. She was a housekeeper for many local homes and businesses. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting at the senior center and stopping at any and all tag sales. She was a good friend and neighbor to all, with a heart of gold.

She is survived by her children: a Son; Robert Nault of Gardnerville, NV. and eight daughters, Mary Austin of Dover Plains, NY, Katherine Raltz of Corona CA, Veronica Thompson of Murietta CA, Theresa Nault of Concord NC, Elaine McSpedon of Albany NY, Yvette Lawrence of Carmel NY, Annie Nault of Millerton NY and Denise Nichols of New Milford, CT as well as 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and a son, Michael Nault.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home 15 Church St. Carmel,NY 10512 (845) 225-2144. Wake services will be held on Tuesday Nov.12th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass on Wednesday, November 13th at St. James the Apostle Church at 10am. Burial will follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel. Online condolences may be offered in the Book of Memories at www.
